The Probate Process
Estate Review
Review strategy, land on next steps, and sign documents to open the estate in a meeting with one of our attorneys.
Open Estate
File all documents to the court and receive approval from the Probate Judge to give you legal authority to manage property.
Creditor Claim Period
Marshall assets together in preparation of distribution while waiting for the four (4) month creditor claim period to elapse.
Evaluate & Pay Claims
Evaluate creditor claims and determine next steps on how to best handle those claims.
Distribute & Close
Transfer property to the heirs of the estate and finalize all paperwork to officially close the estate with the Probate Court.
